Making my bed

I’ve made a resolution to make my bed every day. This post is for public accountability of this resolution. I know that most people reading this will never be near my bed, but if we’re chatting at some point please ask me how it’s going and give me a hard time if I say I’ve been slacking.

Too bad that’s not your bed, because it’s a really beautiful bed :)

You ride a fixie, so I know that is your hipster bed!

Why did you decide to make your bed every day? I think really understanding why it is important helps us keep resolutions.

(And I ask because I don’t make my bed because I decided as a child it was a waste of time and nobody’s convinced me otherwise yet. :) If I lived in a one room house or had my desk in my bedroom, I might feel differently.

I personally enjoy the feeling of getting into a nice made bed at night when I go to sleep, there’s not a lot of other reason than that. I also think that having a morning regimen that consists of more than rushing to the subway will help me be more organized overall, and stop being such a procrastinator.
